Vitamin B-12 shot - Energy Booster
Doctors know the health benefits of the B vitamin family and have administered Vitamin B-12 shots to patients for years and they have seen remarkable results.
Vitamin B-12 shots are great stress reducers, skin enhancers, energy boosters, as well as having many other beneficial health factors.
Vegetarians who do not eat meat or dairy products are at risk for having low levels of Vitamin B-12 usually about 2 years after they become vegetarians.
However, most people who have a low level of Vitamin B-12 are not strict vegetarians. Most people with low Vitamin B-12 levels have trouble absorbing Vitamin B-12 from their stomach or small intestines.
What happens if my Vitamin B-12 level is low?
You might not have any symptoms if your Vitamin B-12 level is just a little bit low. However, a very low Vitamin B-12 can cause anemia, depression, dementia or a serious problem with your nervous system.
Research findings show ample evidence to reveal that cobalamin (Vit B12) injections of 1-2 mg per day can quickly correct deficiencies. It is not apparent whether smaller amounts, such as the 25 mcg or so found in multivitamins, are sufficient to cure deficiencies. Such a claim is substantiated by the fact that although oral supplementation with vitamin B12 is safe, efficient and inexpensive and most multi-vitamin pills contain 100-200 microgram of the cyanocobalamin form of B12, many multivitamins cannot be chewed, which is important for its absorption.
